Princess Lala Phinisi
A practical guide for one traveller on the open trip
Updated 11 October 2026
You can join the open trip alone. It leaves every Monday & Friday, and the fares are per person, from IDR 3,250,000 (≈ USD 199) for three days, assuming two in a cabin. We publish no single supplement, so tell us your date and we answer which cabins are open and on what terms.
How the fares work for one person
Below are the 2027 fares, and a sailing that starts in 2026 costs IDR 100,000 (≈ USD 6) less for each person. The fares are per person and assume two people in the cabin. We publish no single supplement and no rule about sharing a cabin. What we do is answer for your date: tell us when you want to sail and which cabin you have in mind, and we write back with which cabins are open and on what terms.
The three-day fare runs from IDR 3,250,000 (≈ USD 199) in Cabin 3 up to IDR 4,750,000 (≈ USD 291) in Cabin 1. The two-day fare on the same sailing is lower; Cabin 3 is IDR 2,750,000 (≈ USD 169) on that one. A private charter is priced for the whole boat, from IDR 31,750,000 (≈ USD 1,948).

Which cabin when it is just you
Start with the bathroom. Cabin 3 has a shared bathroom outside the cabin and is the cheapest cabin for exactly that reason, IDR 3,250,000 (≈ USD 199) each for the three days. Cabins 2, 4 and 5 are private cabins with a bathroom of their own. Cabins 1 and 6 are the two masters with a private balcony, and Cabin 6 holds two on an open trip.
Every cabin has air conditioning and a sea-view window. Then the stairs: Cabins 1, 2 and 3 are on the upper deck, which you reach by stairs, and Cabins 4, 5 and 6 are on the main deck. If you carry a heavy bag or have a bad knee, the main deck is the one to ask for.
Because the fares assume two in a cabin, whether a single guest takes a double-bed cabin alone, and what that costs, is a question for your date.
What is on board for your safety
On board there are life jackets, life buoys, a life raft, an AIS transponder and a first-aid kit. The kit is basic first aid, and the nearest hospital is back in town. Five crew sail with the boat, and on the open trip a guide from Labuan Bajo joins them, so there is a guide for the walks as well as a crew for the boat.
Snorkelling at Manta Point is a guided drift in a current that can be strong, and a life jacket is advised there; Pink Beach and Taka Makassar are shallow and easy. And the Wi-Fi is the crew's hotspot: it works where a phone works and drops between islands, so tell whoever is at home that you will be out of reach for stretches.
Insurance is not in the fare, and we recommend it, with medical cover. The harbour's boarding pass has to match the manifest, so send us your name as it appears on your passport seven days before you sail, and carry the passport itself on the day.
What to bring, and when to arrive
Pack a soft bag, shoes with grip for Padar and Kelor, swimwear and a light layer for the evening, reef-safe sunscreen, a hat and, if you swim with fins, your own; the mask and snorkel come with the boat. Bring cash for park fees and tips. Park fees are in no fare, and tips for the crew and guide are not included either.
Arrive in Labuan Bajo the day before. Pickup from your hotel or Komodo Airport is free, and the evening before, your guide sends you the hour. The cabin is held by a 50 percent deposit, and the rest 30 days before you sail.
The panel below shows the next sailings. Pick a Monday or a Friday, write to us with the date, and we start from there.

Which cabin is the cheapest for one person?
Cabin 3 is the cheapest cabin on the boat: IDR 3,250,000 (≈ USD 199) per person on the three-day sailing and IDR 2,750,000 (≈ USD 169) on the two-day one. Its bathroom is shared and sits outside the cabin. Taking the cabin alone, and the terms for that, we answer for your date in writing.
